It describes a financial services architecture that connects a digital wallet with local-currency or digital-currency accounts and records deposit information on a blockchain ledger.
The idea brings account access, the movement of money and transaction records into a coordinated system. Within TAP’s broader financial infrastructure, this work provides a strategic foundation for exploring how payments, digital assets and traditional financial accounts can work together.
From an account connection to a recorded transfer.
Connect and fund
A digital wallet communicates with a currency account through a host controller. A deposit receives a transaction identifier and a recorded currency value. The disclosed system can hold the deposit in a pool account and assign the corresponding balance to an account or wallet.
Record and verify
The blockchain ledger records the deposit information and verifies the associated balance. The mechanism links the value entering the system with its transaction record, establishing continuity between an account balance and the activity that produced it.
Move and protect
The disclosed workflows include withdrawals, wallet-to-wallet transfers and ledger updates. Payment routing can consider delivery speed, available channels, block timing and fees. Encrypted user-data storage and protected communications are also part of the described architecture.
